Natamycin Solutions

Natamycin is a highly effective, natural preservative solution against mold and yeast growth. Produced by the fermentation of Streptomyces natalensis, this natural antimicrobial safely extends the shelf life of food products without affecting taste, odor, or color.

Mechanism of Action:

It binds with ergosterol in the cell walls of fungi, disrupting cell permeability and stopping reproduction. Since it has no effect on bacteria, it is safely used in fermented products.
